Moments Like These...

Oh, how I love to watch my kids! I know I am not being one bit biased by any means, but my kids are the cutest! They are starting to get so interactive with each other, us, and people. Tonight, they were playing and we started playing Peek-A-Boo. Saige will cover most of her eyes, but leave her hands wide open. Savannah, will just find a place on her head to put her two hands and calls it good enough. I love this, it is moments like these that just take my breath away and gives me the opportunity to enjoy motherhood even more! They are getting so big, so fast. They also like to blow kisses, have mastered the word "UH-OOH," and Saige will put anything, even just her hand, pretending it is a phone and say, "HI?" It's no wonder why I am not nervous for the next one to come along. There is much more to be excited about than to be worried or scared!

It's A Girl!

I went to have an ultra sound yesterday totally excited to find out what we were going to have, and ITS A GIRL! I am a little surprised, I thought we would have a boy. What are the chances of three girls in a row? Anyway, I am excited either way! For Bryce, it seems like he needs to let it sink in a little bit more!

Another Milestone...or Two

This is way cute and I finally got it live. Saige loves to dance...whenever there is music on, she shrugs one shoulder at a time to the beat or she will move side to side. She especially loves to dance to the music of Two and a Half Men music. Don't mind the messy house, it seems to never stay clean especially with two almost toddlers running...I mean crawling around.
So, here is Saige taking her first steps. She is getting slowly daring enough to do this. At first, she started pushing herself up and standing on her own and we kept trying entice her to walking towards us, but it was no use. She resorted back to crawling.
Savannah on the other hand...no interest in walking by herself yet...what so ever!

How Do You Spell...S.I.C.K?

So, this is how our night went down last night. Earlier yesterday, the babysitter called and said the girls have diarrhea. When this happens, they cannot be there. I had to figure out what to do because I need to save all the time I can for when our next baby comes I have some time paid when I am off. Luckily, my brother in law Tyler was able to watch them until I could get some things done at work. He is such a life saver. I have to say...but don't tell Uncle Scott...but Uncle Ty is the greatest! Thanks Ty, Carrie, and TAZ!
Anyway, when I got off work and picked the girls up, Saige was coughing like no other, to the point she was gagging. Weird. We came right home and they took another nap, even though they had just woke up before I came to get them. The girls had a runny nose with a little cough and seemed to be fine, so bedtime came and they went to sleep. Couple hours later, I was in bed and Saige started to cry. I got her out of bed and snuggled with her for about 1/2 hour. I put her back to bed and about 10 minutes later, she started crying again. I wondered how long I should let her cry, thinking she would go back to sleep. My intuition is telling me this whole time, to go get her. Good thing, because I discovered she was rolling around in her puke. Luckily, Bryce had just got home from school and was able to clean up her bed while I gave her a bath. Her and I decided to spend the night out on the couch where I thought it would be easier clean-up if she pukes again. I got some bibs with a pocket, towels, and geared up for the night. Saige and I sat together for about an hour then Savannah started to cry. When I went to check on her and found another soaked crib of puke! I got her out of bed and she wasn't as bad as Saige was and didn't require a bath. I brought her out to where Saige and I set up camp and that is where were we spent the night. About ever 10-15 minutes, one or the other would puke. I didn't get a lot of sleep, but did sneak in about 15 minutes here or 10 minutes there. It was a long night, but here are some pictures of the girls and our camp for the night. Needless to say, I didn't go to work today!

The last picture is of the girls and what they look like this afternoon, still not feeling their greatest, but at least their spirits are high and are trying to keep themselves busy!

New Addition Update...

We went to the doctor on Tuesday of this week and everything looks great. We thought we were going to be able to find out what we are having, but it is still uncertain. One shot there was nothing, so the doctor thought it could be a girl. But then, he got another shot and he said, "it could be a boy." Our next appointment is in 3 weeks and we will for sure know by then. It is a little weird not knowing at this point, because with Saige and Savannah, the doctor was 100% positive that both of them were girls at 16 weeks. Hmm, my hunch is we are having a boy, but then I wonder if that is just what my brain is trying to convince me of when it really isn't going to be. I am fine either way, however, I know Bryce is really hoping for his little fish'n buddy!

Anyone want to try and guess the gender? Go ahead, we will let you know in a couple of weeks!

A lot of people like to base their guesses on the way the mom-to-be feels. Okay, so how am I feeling? Great. I really feel no different from the last. I learned since last time to make sure to keep something in my belly, however, it wasn't quite as bad then or now. Some say that morning sickness could be a little worse with twins because you have double, but I am not sure if that is a myth or truth. I haven't been hunched over the toilet nor have I ever felt the urge...yuck! I still don't believe I crave anything, however Pizza always sounds good, yet so does just food! And, I like pizza anyway... as long as it is Tony's pizza. That was the same as last time and any other time that I am not prego. What is the strangest, is that I don't feel pregnant at all. At this point last pregnancy though, I was carrying two and already looked like I was 6 month prego. At first when I was suspecting I was pregnant, I noticed I was really tired. Bryce commented (before he even knew) said, "Are you sure your not pregnant, because it seems like you were tired a lot when you were pregnant before!" So, tired-ness hasn't seemed to make a difference either, however I am chasing around 2 one year old girls! And last, I first felt the baby move at about 13 weeks, it was very, very mild, and since then I have only felt a few flutters here and there. So, there ya go, vote away!

"IN" the Drawer

Little Stinkers, they are!

So, I was cleaning up the girls' toys to find them "in" the drawer again. Saige has now discovered that she is able to climb. She is such a little adventurer and Savannah is right behind her, almost like she is cheering her on! Right now, Saige has this fettish of getting into the dog food. She will get handfuls upon mouthfuls of dog food if we aren't watching carefully or fail to keep the door shut. She also likes to be sneaky and get into the pantry. Then when I pull her out, she throws a tantrum by kicking her feet and screaming. Savannah on the other hand doesn't seem to get in so much trouble. However, she can be just as sneaky, but for the most part, she seems to always let you know that she is "the good sister" and to go check out the other one!

We have no walkers yet and I will thank my lucky stars, or else we would have a lot more trouble! Yikes!

Saige and Savannah's 1st Birthday

Saige and Savannah's birthday was a hit. We went to the Draper Temple Open House and it was beautiful. We had to carry around Saige and Savannah, so that got a little tiring and it was super busy. There were a lot of people.
Well, we were 10 minutes late to their birthday party that was at our house. Most everyone was already at our house by the time we got there. First, the girls were able to open their birthday presants, then we stripped the kids down to their diapers to get ready to do the cake. Saige was so into getting the cake, she got her fingers in it. My sister was trying to help her lick her fingers and she got a head start on her dirty-ness. Both girls had a blast opening their presants and eating their cake. They looked a little apprehensive while eating their cake, because they kept looking at me to make sure it was okay they were eating such good stuff!

Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines day to everyone! The girls and I are home, its snowing, Saige is getting sick and wont take a nap, and Bryce is at work! At least this Valentines Day, I am not stuck in the hospital upon waiting the arrival of my two babies! :) It's hard to believe they will be 1 years old in 2 days! YIKES! Saige is very carefully beginning to stand by herself and attempt a step, but then always resorts to helping herself to the crawling position! Savannah, prefers to sit and crawl. She will stand against furniture and stuff, but has no desire to walk...right now! Thats fine, I can wait cuz they are already getting into a lot of things. I was doing the dishes this morning, and they love to help...help by climbing into the dishwasher, taking all the silverware out of the holder, and making noises with all the dishes that I have put in. Finally, I had to just stop, shut the dishwasher, and move them to play in their domain! Such funny little girls!

Facebook...Anyone?

Alright, so I never thought I would join an online social network, but per the HIGH recommendation of a co-worker, I joined Facebook this last week. I have been totally consumed in finding friends from high school or people that I have lost contact with over the years! My greatest accomplishment from joining was finding my DEAREST friend from high school that moved away after our Sophomore year! The following summer, my dad surprised me and flew me to where she moved to, after that, she moved again, and that is where I failed to write her! After all these years, I couldn't remember what city she was in or high school she went to. All I could remember is that she moved to Washington. Oh, how I missed her....but never fret, I found her on FACEBOOK. She has been living in Provo all this time, right under my nose, and I never knew it! Anyway, we were able to do some catching up, phone # exchanges, and I can't wait to see her! I NOW LOOK AT FACEBOOK IN A TOTAL DIFFERENT LIGHT!
Other thoughts about Facebook, there are some other people I have found that involves memories and it is fun to look back and think of those crazy times when I was a silly teenager!
I did end up finding another close friend from high school that I lost contact with. It has been great following up with her family and their happenings!
Anyway, stay tunned, more blogging is to come with SIBILING RIVALRY!
