Dr Check-up: Week 28
Went to the doctor on Tuesday the 26th and everything looks really good. I had my glucose test and it turned out great. I also was weighed (of course) and only gained 1/2 lb. I am very proud of myself, however I think that has to do with me being sick. My appetite wasn't quite normal because my throat hurt so bad! But, I like to think that I am actually doing better in how much I eat and really trying to take the doctors advice and not drink so much milk!
Update on SICK!
I got it bad! I totally think I jinked myself when I said I was lucky and didn't get it as bad as Bryce. I think I got it worse. It all started Thursday night before Memorial weekend. We had plans to go camping, as I was craving S'mores! Friday my throat started to hurt like mad. We decided to go camping anyway. I figured I would be sick and miserable no matter where I was or what I was doing. It was aweful, but now I am getting better! I still have a stuffy nose, tender throat, and coughing like mad. Everyone else in my house is back to normal, other than a couple of runny nostrels.

I am so TIRED of SICK!
What is it with kids being constantly sick, so it seems? I kid you not, my girls get sick every 3 weeks. Of course, who else gets sick? Yep, me! I do have to be grateful this time around because I am not as bad as Bryce. He got it worse this time. But seriously, before kids I would get sick 2 times a year...now, that has gone down the drain! What is worse, being in my condition, I am very limited on medicine. Will it ever stop, slow down, or go away? A positive note, at least all this crap is building up Saige and Savannah's immune system....right?

HaPPy MoTHeR's DaY!
I hope all you MOMS out there, are having the most incredible day by spending time with your families and your children! What a blessing it is to be a MOTHER! I cannot explain how grateful I am to be able to raise MY little girls! It is such an honor that Heavenly Father would trust ME enough to care for these little spirits and bundles of joy! Yes, it does get frustrating at times, but I guess it wouldn't be called MOTHERHOOD!
I think of some of the sacrifices I have had in order to get to be a MOM. Waiting five years or 60 disappointing months, was a complete challenge in and of itself filled with unknowns, ups and downs, and even rock bottom! For the most part, I had to be optimistic and tell MYSELF, "Other people aren't able to have children at all and I would much rather go through this than someone else!" I remember the many people who tried to comfort ME during this trial and it just seemed like nothing helped. I am grateful for their efforts, but nothing anyone said or did could make it better! I decided the only one that can make things better was ME! I had to stop wallowing in MY misery, buck up, and change MY way of thinking.
Now, I dedicate this story to all you wonderful MOTHERS!

A baby asked God, "They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?"
"Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you."
The child further inquired, "But tell me, here in heaven I don't have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy."
God said, "Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you. And you will feel your angel's love and be very happy."
Again the child asked, "And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don't know the language?"
God said, "Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak."
"And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?"
God said, "Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray."
"Who will protect me?"
God said, "Your angel will defend you even if it means risking it's life."
"But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore."
God said, "Your angel will always talk to you about Me and will teach you the way to come back to Me, even though I will always be next to you."
At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard and the child hurriedly asked, "God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel's name."
"You will simply call her, 'Mom.'"

Baby Sports Illustrated--Swimsuit II
Don't these little girls just look so cute? I had fun with them a couple of weeks ago and had them show off their new swimsuits! I also got to play around with Photoshop, since I learned how to work it. Anyway, I am really hoping the girls get to use their swimsuits this year even if I have to stuff my pregnant body into a swimsuit of my own (uggh)! We will have to talk Daddy into going to the Aquatic Center to get some pool action!
