California

We had the awesome opportunity to go to San Diego for Grandpa Jewells memorial service (pictures yet to come). In the meantime, we had a great time while remembering his life here on Earth.

This is on our way to San Diego. All the girls slept most of the way or they were heavily in tune with movies!

Our first stop, was the BEACH. It wasn't much given the whole time we were there, it was cloudy, misty, and rainy! But, it was worth it....cuz it was the FIRST time for the girls! It was cold, so we didn't stay long and the water was freezzzzzz-za-zing!

Cute little Reagan enjoying the sand beneath her feet!

Cute little Reagan decides to eat the sand beneath her feet!

They couldn't wait! They just had to get in!

Sea World! A blast, way fun for the girls, and a moment to remember! The girls absolutely loved Sea World. They loved looking at the peguins (which I think was their favorite), and their next favorite, probably the Polar Bear!

Waiting for their very first show!

SHARKS! YIKES!

The Dolphin Show!

Funny Sealions! The girls got a kick out of them!

The Star Fish pool! Lucky for Reagan, she already got her nap in so she got to play with them. But the twins, they were all tuckered out!

Seeing Shamu for the first time! I was a little disappointed because the last time Bryce and I came to Sea World was a few years ago to see Grandpa and Grandma. Since then, both of them have died and so did one of the whale trainers. So now, the trainers don't get in the water with the whales at all! It was a short performance, but still, the girls had a good time, and its better the trainers stay safe anyway!

All in all, the girls lasted the whole time from when the park opened at 10 AM until it closed at 7 PM! Wow, it was a busy day!

Now more time for swimming!

More of Reagan

Momma's girl!

Cute little stink! Getting so adventurous, courious, and feisty! You may not believe it, but she really is!

All ready to go to school and make something in the kitchen!

Busy Busy!

The twins are getting into making things now. Like playing with playdough, painting, making cookies, eating the dough, and etc. They have been so much fun! Savannah is really intense on spending a lot of time on her picture, while Saige puts a dab here a dab there and calls it good! Funny little girls!
Reagan is beginning to get into the book thing! Definitely a GOOOOOOD thing!

Misc. Hunting Trip: Book Cliffs

This is it! This is the place! Ugggh. It was dusty, dry, and really NOTHING to do! But, we made the most of it (us 4 girls) and we got out to support our HUNTER! This is what it looks like driving to the Book Cliffs. 60 miles of a dirt road.

Reagan's confinement pen! Ok, not really--we are getting ready to go to bed!

Bryce caught a baby horny toad. The girls we very intrigued!

The BIG HUNTER showing off his skills using his bow at 100 yards! He is so HOT!

Saige, not sure what to do with herself. Daddy ditched us to look for an elk. Note: she is facing towards the weeds.

Mommy decided to come keep them company, but then I had to take a picture.

I thought this was cute Daddy teaching Saige how to use the spotting scope! Two of a kind, oh lets not forget Sami--Three of a kind!

The girls testing out their wheels. They didn't work so well, being a 1-wheel drive 4 wheeler!

Now we're talk'n! This is what they were born for! "Ditch the crap, go for the BIG machines!"

Bryce, Scott, and Mike getting ready to head out in the evening to find a bull.

Ok, that about sums it up. Look for previous posts for Bryce's bull!

Ogden Half Marathon!

Ok, here I go! I signed up for the Ogden Half Marathon in May. I have been running here and there and the furthest I have worked myself up to is about 4 solid miles of running. I started slack'n a little bit, but decided to push myself a little harder! So, here is to 13 miles of sweat, motivation, and fun! Wish me luck, training has begun!

My Little Walker

Yes, yes, she is cruis'n! Saige and Savannah are really getting close to getting a taste of their own medicine! Reagan is definitely loving her mobility! At first, she was getting so frustrated because she would walk a few steps and fall, get mad, hit the floor, but then try again! That-a-GIRL, never give up! Luv ya little Ray-Ray!

Elk Hunt 2010: Book Cliffs

Bryce was lucky and WON a trophy elk archery hunt in the Book Cliffs just south of Roosevelt, UT and northeast of Price. He stayed for about 10 days and became an official MOUNTAIN MAN! It was a long 10 days, but we made it! Bryce said he had to be the oldest and biggest bull he has ever seen. He even took the ivories to the taxidermist and he said that is the oldest he has ever seen and guessing to be about 13-14 years old. Well, Bryce had a good and tough time getting him and supposedly it is quite the task to get anything with a bow and arrow! According to the information about the Book Cliffs hunt, you have a 50% chance of getting an elk on a limited entry hunt! Hmmm...he didn't fair to badly!

Holden

Here he is, little Holden has finally arrived! Bryce's sister, Jenny had him on Grandma Debbie's birthday, September 2! He was initially "supposed" to come on the 1st, but lucky for Grandma, he had other plans! Anyway, he is just adorable and looks just like his daddy!
